Internship Team Overview

The Internship Team's mission is to promote career education and career support for students through the operation of the Graduate School's common subjects "Internship courses for students in Humanities" and "Career studies for students in Humanities," and to develop the ability to apply humanities knowledge to the real world in preparation for career development after graduating from graduate school. These two subjects are required for all students in the Master's and Doctoral programs of the Graduate School of Humanities, and provide an opportunity for practical learning.

Career studies for students in Humanities

In the "Career studies for students in Humanities," we invite lecturers from companies and graduates of our graduate school to teach our students the skills and attitudes they need to be successful in society in the future. In addition to lectures, students will also exchange opinions and hold discussions with each other to deepen their understanding of how to utilize humanities knowledge in the real world and how humanities graduate students can develop their careers.

This class is not simply a subject designed to help students find employment; it is intended for students with a variety of career aspirations, including those who wish to become researchers, and provides education that will enable students to utilize humanities knowledge in a broad range of areas in society.

Internship courses for students in Humanities

"Internship courses for students in Humanities" aims to deepen students' understanding of work, careers, and self-understanding through a series of programs that includes applying to internship locations, pre-training, practical training at the internship location, and reporting on their results at a presentation, and to equip them with the ability to apply what they have learned at graduate school to society.

The Internship Team provides education to enable students of the Graduate School to utilize the knowledge they have acquired in graduate school in society and to forge a strong career path after graduating.
