Interdisciplinary Education Unit Overview
The Interdisciplinary Education Unit is responsible for fostering collaboration and academic exchange across disciplines through a wide range of activities, including the planning and management of the Global Humanities Research Exchange Meeting. It also provides students in the Graduate School of Humanities with diverse opportunities for learning and interaction.
The Global Humanities Research Exchange Meeting is one of the key initiatives led by the Research Integration and Development Unit, providing a platform for students to present their research findings in two formats: poster presentations and oral presentations. Outstanding presentations are recognized with awards, and the event serves as a valuable opportunity for participants to engage with one another, gain inspiration, and further develop their research.
Applications are accepted from June to July, with the submission deadline at the end of November, and results announced in December. While scholarship students are required to present, all students are encouraged to present at least once before completing their master’s thesis or doctoral dissertation.
Through this initiative, the Global Humanities Research Exchange Meeting fosters broader perspectives, creates meaningful connections that shape the future of the humanities, and supports the development of highly skilled researchers who can contribute to society.
