Academic Promotion Unit Overview
The Academic Promotion Unit is dedicated to advancing high-level academic activities beyond the boundaries of individual disciplines and distributing scholarly outcomes through the "Jinbun Gakurin Library." Its mission is to foster academic exchange both within and beyond the Graduate School of Humanities while actively working to share research outcomes with society at large.
Additionally, to promote interdisciplinary research exchange beyond individual departments, the division organizes one to two lectures and symposiums per year. These events serve as a platform for sharing cutting-edge research outcomes in the humanities, fostering knowledge exchange among researchers and students within the university. Furthermore, by making these outcomes accessible to the general public, the unit aims to illustrate how the humanities connect with and contribute to society.
Currently in preparation for its initial issue, the Jinbun Gakurin Library is one of the key initiatives of the Academic Promotion Unit. This publication systematically compiles academic outcomes generated within the Graduate School of Humanities and presents them in an accessible format for the public. By doing so, it aims to communicate the value of the humanities not only to specialists but also to a wide range of readers, expanding the potential and reach of humanities research.
